My name is Rachel Menin, but some of you may have  known me as Coach Wiren, Miss Wiren, or just plain "Wiren." I'm an educator by day, an author in summers, and a coach forever.
      Being a writer was a childhood wish that never surfaced until I decided to take steps toward my MFA from Wilkes University. Out of that degree, my focus of education changed and my first novel, After Genevieve, came to fruition.
